Sanderson Firm PLLC Successfully Completes SOC 1 Type 1 Report

Bradenton, FL, April 26, 2023: Sanderson Firm PLLC, a leading Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance services provider firm servicing the insurance and legal communities nationwide, is proud to announce the successful completion of their SOC 1 Type 1 Report as of March 1, 2023.

“This is the first of many major milestones as we continue to grow and improve our security, operating controls and compliance across all aspects of business operations,” commented Heather Sanderson, Founder and President. “In our aggressive commitment to invest in meaningful security and process standards for the benefit of our clients, Sanderson Firm is also slated to complete our first SOC 2 report by early 2024.” Leesa Rice, Executive Vice President of Business Development stated, “Completing our first SOC audit at such an early stage of the Firm’s growth is a testament to our pursuit of excellence and client satisfaction, especially when considering the voluntary nature of SOC audits. We are committed to demonstrating why Sanderson Firm is one of the most rapidly growing MSP compliance services firms in the industry.”

A SOC 1 Type 1 Examination, commonly referred to as “SSAE18” or formerly, “SSAE 16” was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”) and is the most widely recognized authoritative guidance that provides service organizations a uniform method for disclosing independently assessed information about the design and operation of internal controls related to their services. Companies who complete an annual SOC 1 examination can demonstrate a substantially higher level of assurance and operational visibility than companies who do not.

Sanderson Firm’s SOC 1 Type 1 report was issued by Cherry Bekaert, one of the nation’s largest and top-rated accounting firms. This report verifies Sanderson Firm’s fair presentation of organizational controls and design effectiveness of how such organization controls are implemented.
